As they go through this process, they tweak the formula to try to produce the best feeling rope possible. Some ropes dont make the cut for first quality thus creating seconds. Each second rope has gone through the same process as first quality ropes, but does not include a tail tag. The tail tag shows the size and lay of the rope unfortunately a second rope cannot
